In the 110-meter hurdles, Ridgeland's Jamari Page, the reigning MHSAA 5A 110mH Champion, has the fastest overall time at 14.41 seconds from his win at the Madison Central Track Classic.
However, Tylertown's Kendrell Robertson, the reigning MHSAA 3A 110mH and 300mH Champion and current state leader in the 60-meter hurdles, owns the best wind-legal time of 14.48 seconds, doing so at the MHSAA Region 4-3A Championships for the win.
Other elite hurdlers such as Javarius Molden of Hattiesburg and JaBrysten Abram of Senatobia also hold lifetime bests of under 15 seconds, and could potentially break the 14.50 barrier this season.
Likewise, Page and Molden find themselves in the same class, and could offer some electrifying competition come championship season.
