We think it's safe to say that Lenasia Drummond is the best hurdler, as well as the most versatile athlete on the Mississippi Track and Field circuit. Coming in at No. 1 in the 100-meter hurdles and No. 3 in the 300-meter hurdles, as well as top-five in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, the Hattiesburg senior will be going after some big-time marks in multiple events this season. 

Clinton's Corshunna Hughes is the only other Mississippi prep under 15 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, though after a very successful indoor season, we can most likely bet on the likes of Katie Gates, Jenesis Williams, and Kaitlyn Jones to be right with Drummond and Hughes in the 2023 Mississippi Outdoor Track and Field season. 

In the 300-meter hurdles, the MHSAA 6A rivalry of Jones and Tupelo's Bailey Siddell will continue to provide the most thrilling competition Mississippi can offer.
