6. Mia Dawson - Lafayette High
Dawson is a consistent competitor and seems to always find herself in a podium position. During this past cross country season, she finished 5th at the 5A State Meet against some of the best distance runners to have come out of Mississippi.
Dawson later went on to show off her range in the outdoor season with a set of podium finishes in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m. This brings her total of podium finishes to five, and that does not even include her exceptional finishes at the cross country state meet.
If there is anything that Mia Dawson has shown us, it's that her name is always in contention for a top finishing position.
