7. Sophie Santucci - Tupelo Christian Prep
Santucci is coming off of an extremely successful freshman year. She posted a PR in the 5k with a 19:37 and also finished behind her teammate, Abigail Craft, to finish second at the 2020 MHSAA 1A XC State Meet.
During the Indoor Track season, Santucci blew her old performances out of the water. She beat her old 1600m PR by 8 seconds and finished at 5:17 and also shed 5 seconds off of her 800m PR in a time of 2:24.
It will be interesting to see how these performances affect Santucci's cross country ability this season.
