George County Trail Run

The George County Trail Run hosted a wide variety of large schools and concluded with some fairly fast times by the end of the day.

On the boys' side, current MS All-State #7, Tanner Moore of Pearl High School won in a time of 16:48 and was followed up by his teammate Johnathan Phillips at 16:57. The two aided their team to a win with a total team score of 23 points and a team average of 17:27. 

Following not too far behind Pearl in the team rankings was Oak Grove and Ocean Springs with team scores of 68 and 73, consequently. 

For the girls' Ashton Rainey of Ocean Springs captured the individual title in a time of 21:59. Following Rainey in the 2nd and 3rd positions were her teammates, Sarah Litton and Addison Rainey. Both recorded similar finishes with times of 22:32 and 22:40. 

Ocean Springs claimed the team title with a team score of 25 points and led over other teams such as Saint Patrick and Pearl, who scored 74 and 78 points correspondingly.
