Top 100 Boys Returners for the 2025 XC Season

The heat is pounding, and school is starting soon, which can only mean one thing: cross country is around the corner. As we prepare for the 2025 cross country season, we're going to highlight some of our top returners and who/what to look out for this season. 

Up first are the top 100 returners based on last year's fastest times. For the boys, Andrew Brown from Tupelo High School stands above the rest with his 15:09 from the Tupelo Invitational. After a dominant track season in the first half of 2025, Andrew Brown will no doubt continue his reign as the top Mississippi distance athlete. Behind him, Joseph Ross from Saint Patrick Catholic High School and Preston Mundy from Olive Branch High School claim the 2nd and 3rd spots. Andrew, Joseph, and Preston are the only sub-16 runners returning for the 2025 season.
