It's been a second since we had a performer of the week poll, so before we jump into this week's poll, I will highlight some of the recent performances that very well could have won the performer of the week from weeks prior.

Ja Saria Harris(Pearl High School): New state lead in the 200m(25.09)

Jordyn Moody(Oak Grove High School): New state lead in the 400m(57.28)

Marley Yarbrough(Pearl High School): New state lead in the 300mH(45.90)

Julie Segroves(Biloxi High School): New state lead in the pole vault(13-1), currently ranked U.S. #5

Charve Gibson(Jefferson County High School): New indoor state lead in long jump(19-2.75) and triple jump(38-11.25) at Nike Indoor Nationals. 

With those athletes highlighted, let's jump into this week's nominees for performer of the week. You're going to recognize some of these athletes from the list above, as they have only improved from their prior performances.

Lilly Overby(Simpson Academy): New state lead and MS #6 all-time in the 800m(2:14.88)

Addison Rainey(Ocean Springs High School): New state lead in the 3200m(11:25.35)

Charve Gibson(Jefferson County High School): New state lead in the 110mH(14.65) and triple jump(40-3.5), currently ranked U.S. #8 all conditions.

Annie Toler(Madison-Ridgeland Academy): New state lead in the high jump(5-6)

Skyler Phillips(Pillow Academy): New state lead in the discus(131-10)

Macy Hale(Riverfield Academy): New state lead in the shot put(39-9)
