The Mississippi high school boys' 400m dash squad rankings are out, and it's Tupelo High School that leads the way with an impressive squad average of 53.71. Zech Pratt Jr, who is currently ranked No. 2 in the 400m dash in Mississippi this year, leads the team with a MileSplit Mississippi 1st-Team Standard of 51.34.
Clinton High School is right behind Tupelo with a squad of 53.75, led by No. 3 ranked 400m runner Howard Banks with a time of 51.61. Middle-distance ace Miguel Bankston follows closely with a time of 52.49
Pearl High School comes in third with a squad average of 54.38. Jumps specialist Marcus Thompson leads the way with a time of 52.56, followed by Brendan Clark, who generally runs the 800m and 1600m, with a time of 53.15. The Pirates will likely continue their strong start to the season and challenge Tupelo and Clinton for the top spot.
