A couple of weeks ago I would have said it would be Ocean Springs in a walk over to win Class 6A. But Pearl has made big moves the last two weeks to close the gap. Ocean Springs still has a 17 point lead but that could change with just a few runners moving up or back in time at State. I have to give a point out to the Hernando girls who have made a great team improvement this year. Gracie Ferguson, D'Iberville has the individual lead but Clare Pinter, Pearl and Katelyn Cartwright, Hernando on right on her tail.
