Last week's winner was Trace Thornhill from Hernando High School. Last week, he ran a 16:03 to place 3rd at the Mustang Stampede Invitational and hit a big PR. Since then, he has competed at the Saltillo Cross Country Invitational, where he placed 4th with a time of 16:19. He is currently ranked 5th overall in the state. In a few weeks, he will take on the Jesse Owens Classic and compete against some of the best athletes in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.

We have another fresh ballot of performances from this week, which means it's time for you to vote! Look at our nominees below, and vote for who you think deserves to be this week's performer of the week!

**Once an athlete has won performer of the week, they will be exempt from nomination for two weeks to prevent the same athlete from winning the award every week.**
