Last week's winner was Jackson Jumper from St. Andrew's Episcopal School. His 16:36 performance at the Saltillo Invitational earned him 56.85% of the vote and a solid personal best. Since that performance, Jackson competed at the Clinton Arrow Invitational, running a time of 16:47. This marks his second performance under 17 minutes. He will continue his season at the MRA Cross Country Classic next week. 

We have another fresh ballot of performances from this week, which means it's time for you to vote! Look at our nominees below, and vote for who you think deserves to be this week's performer of the week!

**Once an athlete has won performer of the week, they will be exempt from nomination for two weeks to prevent the same athlete from winning the award every week. If an athlete is nominated for national performer of the week, they will also be exempt from voting for that week**

Nominees for September 22-28

Joseph Ross - St. Patrick Catholic: Competed at the On Twilight at PR'ville, placing 14th overall in the championship division with a time of 15:57. This is his first time breaking the 16-minute barrier this season.

Eli Seaton - Pascagoula High School: Competed at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Invitational, winning with a time of 16:22. 

David Lee - Madison Central High School: Competed at the Clinton Arrow Invitational, placing 3rd overall with a time of 16:26. This is a new personal best for him by nine seconds.

Louis Schramm - Oak Grove High School: Competed at the Simpson Academy Invitational, winning with a time of 16:37. This is almost a two-minute improvement from his first meet this season. 

Preston Mundy - Olive Branch High School: Competed at the On Twilight at PR'ville, placing 24th overall in the championship division with a time of 16:14.
