Another week of Mississippi cross country is in the books, so we're back to highlight more athletes through the Most Improved Series! Each week, we'll spotlight one meet and highlight athletes who made the biggest jumps compared to their performances at the same meet last year.
This week, we're featuring The Opener
The most improved from The Opener was Adelie Waldron from Ocean Springs High School. She improved by five and a half minutes to run a time of 27:55.
Another notable performance comes from Ellie Legg of the Coastal Mississippi Wildcats, who dropped three and a half minutes to run a time of 19:35.
