Another week of Mississippi cross country is in the books, so we're back to highlight more athletes through the Most Improved Series! Each week, we'll spotlight one meet and highlight athletes who made the biggest jumps compared to their performances at the same meet last year.
This week, we're featuring the TCPS Twilight.
For the second week in a row, Reily Holcomb from Saltillo High School is the most improved runner. He has improved by over nine minutes from his performance at this same meet last year.
Behind Reily is Aiden Wright from Itawamba Agricultural High School, who dropped seven and a half minutes. Another athlete who made a big jump was Gabriel Pierce from Lafayette High School. He dropped five and a half minutes to get below the 19-minute barrier.
