2022 Dusk Challenge
Varsity Boys 5K
It was a Madison Central 1-2-3 sweep as Colin Brannon, Benjamin Owens, and Braxton Rea took the 2022 Dusk Challenge by storm.
Brannon won his second meet of the season in a 5K time of 16:30.0. Owens, who just went 15:48 at the 2022 Watson Cross Country Classic, was second in 16:51.4. Rea, the sophomore, took third, 17:06.2.

The Jaguars won the meet in a score of 23 points, and were without varsity competitor Davis Welch. They are coming off a remarkable showing at the 2022 Watson Cross Country Classic, a third-place finish in front of ranked team Saltillo High School, and are peaking just in time for the 2022 championship season.
Varsity Girls 5K
It is clear that this is the best shape Alex Lee of Madison Central has ever been in and has taken advantage of it as the regular season comes to a close.
Lee won the 2022 Dusk Challenge in a 5K time of 20:36.2. In current time, this was one week after her monstrous PR of 19:35.2 at the 2022 Watson Cross Country Classic.

The Madison Central freshman led the Lady Jaguars to a 35-point victory over their Jackson Metro rivals, Germantown High School and Clinton High School.
