MHSAA 1A

*Willis Lateric of Coffeeville High School snagged a new personal best and division leading mark in the triple jump, leaping 38-2 at the Cardinal Invitational.

*Coldwater High's Keniya Gordon won the high jump at the Cardinal Invitational, jumping 5-2 and currently leads MHSAA 1A.

MHSAA 2A

*Also in the high jump scene Eliza Whitenton of East Union High School finished two inches below Gordon, but with a jump of 5-0 secured the top spot in MHSAA 2A.

MHSAA 3A

*At the MHSAA Division 8-3A Championships, Bella Jordan of Saint Patrick High School won the 800m in 2:38.60 and topped the class with her victory.

*Also at the MHSAA Division 8-3A Championships, Ellen Porter of Jefferson Davis County threw 33-9 in the shot put to lead MHSAA 3A.

MSAIS 3A

*Isabella Magyar from Benton Academy ran a division leading best in the 800m of 2:39.40 at the Canton Academy Sterling Penn Invitational.

*At the same meet, Magyar's teammate Lindsey Hogue ran 6:00.39 in the 1600m and 12:43.7 in the 3200m and leads MSAIS 3A in both events.

MSAIS 4A

*In the boys 400m at the Canton Academy Sterling Penn Invitational, Bert Goodloe of Canton Academy took the victory in 51.12 and currently tops the class.

*Also in Canton, Wayne Academy's Claire Andersen ran 17.41 in the 100mH and now leads 4A with her new personal best.

*Gates Welch of Canton Academy topped the shot put results throwing 35-4.5 and leads the 4A rankings in the event.

MSAIS 5A

*East Rankin's Brayden Warner threw an impressive mark of 166-0 in the discus at the Canton Academy Sterling Penn Invitational and leads MSAIS 5A.

*Jennie Hamilton of Winston Academy launched a throw of 34-5 in the shot put and earned a class leading mark. 

MSAIS 6A

*Mike Jones from Hartfield Academy ran 11.18 in the 100m in Canton, a time which earned him the leading spot in the division. He also tops the class in the 200m as well after he ran a time of 22.93 at the Canton Academy Sterling Penn Invitational.

*Elliot Davis of Jackson Prep ran a season best of 2:07.07 in the 800m and is the current leader in the class for the event.

*In the long jump, Kevin Roberts of Jackson Prep leaped 22-8 to win at the Canton Academy Sterling Penn Invitational and take the top spot in the class.

*Cole Allen of Jackson Prep threw 44-11 in the shot put to win the event and lead MSAIS 6A. 

*Jackson Preparatory School's Taylor Caton threw a personal best of 118-3 in the discus and is the current leader in MSAIA 6A.

Home School Association

*Jeb Hamilton of Tupelo Spartans ran 2:06.59 in the 800m at the USJ Home Meet to take the win. He continues to lead the class in the event.

*In the 3200m, Hamilton's teammate, Sam Johnson ran a new personal best of 10:15.8 and is the current division leader.
