Grayson Childress, Brookhaven High is definitely a force in the 1600 meters. In the 3200-meters Brady Helms, Pearl High has the fastest time coming into the meet with Sam Arnold, Brookhaven High not far behind.
The 110-meter hurdlers will be a great race with Corvin Johnson, Pearl High at 14.91, and Justin Nave, Clinton High at 14.94. Justin Nave had the top 300 hurdle time entering the meet.
The boys' relays will feature Clinton and Pearl but Terry High might slip in there.
Niquez Wade, Pearl High in the discus is way out in front with his 168'2" throw from the Arrow Twilight meet. Jerry Johnson, Pearl High has a 22'8" long jump to lead that event.
Girls top entries.
In the 1600 and 3200 meters Pearl High has Daeja Davis (1600) and Shana Sellers (3200) to lead the pack.
In the girls' relays Clinton and Pearl will battle it out but remember Terry High is in their first timed meet of the season and they always have good relay teams.
Ah'Menya Rancifer, Brookhaven has the best shot distance and is second behind Kaitlyn Walker, Clinton in the discus.
