Southern Heatwave Cross Country Classic

*****PARKING FEE: $10.00 PER VEHICLE.*****CASH ONLY.*****

                     COACHES PLEASE TELL YOUR PARENTS AND FANS

DIVISIONS: High School Boys and High School Girls, Middle School Boys and Middle School Girls 

ENTRY FEES: $150.00 PER GENDER, $300.00 MAXIMUM

$20.00 per individual runner on a school team with less than 5 runners. 

No unattached runners--all must be members of a sanctioned school team.

Make Checks Payable to PEARL HIGH SCHOOL TRACK. Pay at Packet Pick-Up.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, August 26

There are unlimited entries in all divisions, but only the TOP SEVEN from each school will be used for scoring and are eligible for awards.

BUS & CAR PARKING: 

BUSES: Across from Amphitheater, Enter Baseball Field parking lot and turn right, go toward end of gravel parking lot. 

BUS PARKING AND TEAM TENT AREA is at the end of the gravel parking lot. Team tents can be located in area under the Trees.  

CARS ARE TO PARK behind the buses in the same parking lot.

8:30 AM High School Girls 5K

9:10 AM Middle Schools Boys 3K

9:15 AM High School Awards

9:35 AM Middle School Girls 3K 

10:05 AM Middle School Awards

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course is definitely Spectator Friendly. This is a true Cross Country course on the City of Brandon Cross Country Trails. The course is mostly through woods and fields behind the baseball fields. The course is on mostly All Grass with 2 crossings over an asphalt road. The start and finish is in the same proximity with loops winding through the woods and around the fields several times giving spectators numerous opportunities to view the races.
