Eligibility: This meet is open to MHSAA 7th & 8th grade middle/junior high school athletes. ONLY athletes that have competed in middle school/junior high races are eligible. Athletes that have competed on a Varsity or Junior Varsity Squad consisting of 9th, 10th, 11th or 12 graders during the 2023 or 2024 season, are NOT Eligible to participate in this meet!
Participation: All middles school athletes that meet the qualifying standards MAY enter. FROM THE ONLINE ENTRIES, ONLY THE TOP 16 INDIVIDUALS AND RELAY TEAMS ENTERED IN EACH EVENT WILL BE SELECTED TO COMPETE. Selections will be based solely on MS.MileSplit.com rankings. ONLY FULLY AUTOMATIC TIMES (FAT) WILL BE ACCEPTED, NO HAND TIMES WILL BE CONSIDERED!!! Athletes MUST represent their schools and be entered by the coach of their respective schools, NO UNATTACHED ATHLETES!!! Each school may enter two qualifying athletes in each individual event and one qualifying team in each relay. An athlete may participate in a maximum of four (4) events including relays!
Entry Process: Coaches that have athletes/relay teams that meet the eligibility and qualifying standards, and wish to be considered to participate, MUST enter online at http://ms.milesplit.comby Wednesday, April 3, midnight. Individuals and relay teams selected to compete will be posted on MS.MileSplit.com on Friday morning, April 5. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT AN INVITATIONAL!!! ALL QUALIFYING ATHLETES THAT WISH TO BE CONSIDERED TO PARTICIPATE MUST ENTER THE MEET ON MS.MileSplit.com!!! During the online entry process, coaches will not be able to override times, heights or distances. Only marks from official meet results on MS.MileSplit.com may be used to enter an athlete or relay team!

Important MHSAA Middle School Event Changes: The girls will now throw the 6 lbs. Shot and the boys will run the 33" 100 Meter Hurdles (the 110 Meter Hurdles event has been dropped!)
