MHSAA XC Performer of the Year Poll

After a fast and hard-fought season by our Mississippi athletes, it is time to cast your vote for who you think deserves the title of the MHSAA Performer of the year. Dive into the list of athletes up for nomination and decide who you think is the top performer!

Addison Rainey - Ocean Springs High School: Despite her fallout at the MHSAA 7 State Championships, Addison had an impressive season and threw down the second fastest time in the state at the 7A Region 4 Championships with her time of 18:27.

Alex Lee - Madison Central High School: Alex ran an extremely consistent season and earned her all-time personal best at the Watson High School Cross Country Classic with her time of 18:58. After this performance, she went on to win the MHSAA 7A State Championships.

Kyleigh Carter - Hernando High School: At the Jesse Owens Classic, Kyleigh earned her all-time personal best with a time of 19:04. She then went on to place 5th at the MHSAA 7A State Championships.

Kaydi Blanchard - Lewisburg High School: Kaydi delivered a strong performance at the DeSoto County XC Championships, running a time of 19:11. At the end of the season, she placed 7th at the MHSAA 7A State Championships.

Brookelyn Morgan - Tupelo High School: Brookelyn had a consistent season from start to finish, with all of her times falling between 19:19 and 19:44. This consistency paid off, as she finished 2nd place at the MHSAA 7A State Championships despite there being several athletes seeded faster than her.

Kaedyn Wilson - Clinton High School: Kaedyn had her first breakthrough race of the season at the Clinton Arrow Cross Country Invitational, and then followed it up with a strong time of 19:34 at the Watson High School Cross Country Classic.

Elsie Wilbanks - Corinth High School: Elsie claimed her fastest time of the season at the Randolph Invitational with a time of 19:37. After this, she went on to win the MHSAA 5A State Championships.

Elliott Neal - Pearl High School: Elliott ran a total of ten races and ran her fastest time of the year at the Watson High School Cross Country Classic with a time of 19:41.
