Sr. Bounds Simmons of Tupelo Christian Prep. leads the 1A boy's rankings in the 800 (2:07.27) and the 1600 (4:47.13).  He is a 2X defending 1A State Champion in the 800 and the 1600 and was 2nd in the 1A State Cross Country Championships last Fall in 17:20.30.
