Tylertown High School's track and field team is considered one of the deepest in the state of Mississippi in the sprinting events. Home of Mississippi legend Jordan Anthony and led by Jourdan Clements, the squad boasts an impressive average time of 7.29 in the event.
Close on their heels is Clinton High School, the reigning MHSAA 6A Boys Team Champions. The team is led by Omari Hampton, who is the current MHSAA 6A Champion in the 100 and 200-meter dash.
Both teams have a strong tradition of success in the sprinting events and are expected to continue their dominance in the event in the near future.
