High School Boys Team

As it's been said all summer, Saltillo High School is a unit. After winning the 2022 New Albany XC Classic, this race is just another stop on Saltillo's speed tour.

The depth that the Tigers have makes it almost impossible to pick against them.

Although Cooper Parmer did graduate, he left behind a solid team at Pontotoc. Led by Caiden Ivy and Jace Clingan, Pontotoc High School could place second.

Tupelo High School will also be racing, but they seem to be resting their stars Jaheim Bridges and Taylor Brown. Tupelo could still be competitive in the top three teams, as the duo has a great supporting staff.

Here's Our Pick: It is a clear choice that Saltillo, one of the best teams in the state, will walk away with the win and defend their title. It will be interesting to see how Tupelo performs without their top two runners, but Pontotoc should place second.
