LAST WEEK: Future Stars: Jefferson County's Charve Gibson

----

In this week's edition of 'Future Stars', we spotlight Bella Jordan of Saint Patrick High School!

Jordan is an eighth-grader who excels in the 400-meter dash. Jordan's PR of 1:01.18, set at the 2022 MHSAA 3A South State Championships on April 22, is the fastest eighth-grade girl's 400m time in Mississippi for the 2022 track and field season.

At the 2022 MHSAA 3A Track and Field State Championships, Jordan placed fifth in the 400m and also medaled in three different relays, attaining the silver medal in the 4x400m and 4x800m, as well as the bronze in the 4x200m.

Jordan also boasted an exceptional seventh grade season last year. At the 2021 MHSAA 2A Track and Field State Championships, she finished second in the 400m and earned gold medals in the 4x200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m.

Jordan's seventh-grade PR was 1:03.60, which was the second-fastest seventh-grade girl's 400m time in Mississippi last year.

Jordan has started her track career off strong with a series of impressive middle school performances, and we look forward to seeing what she continues to achieve in the seasons to come!
