There should be no doubt who reigns supreme for this coming season. Kennedi Sanders, Madison Central leads all sprinters returning. She has become a force in Mississippi sprinting and looks to continue that this spring.
Kenia Seals, Desoto Central is a surprise in second place. This senior did make to State where she finished fifth in the 100 meters she ranks 17th in the returning 100 meter sprinters. But if her 60 meter times are any indication look out Class 6A this girl is coming.
Savi'a Varnell, Pearl set a PR at the Last Chace meet with a 7.74 which sets her up for the outdoor season. While she is fast she gets even better the longer the race. This old coach would love to see how fast she can run in the 800 meters.
