Hey, y'all! I'm Morgan Claire Rose, a senior at Kirk Academy. I hope everyone had a great summer and is just as ecstatic as I am for this cross country season to begin. This summer was by far the most exciting summer I've experienced as a runner. I've had the opportunity to race in my first national track meet, attend Smoky Mountain Running Camp in North Carolina, and visit some incredible colleges. As far as training goes, I've been running daily preparing diligently for my first meet. Every week I put in a quality long run and track workout, but most days I just put in solid base miles. I look forward to updating y'all weekly with race reports, workouts, and even official college visits. Good luck to everyone this season, and I hope to see y'all on the trails!
