With fresh times coming in, new names are breaking into the top spots and making their presence known. Each week, we'll highlight the athletes leading the way and track how the state's rankings are evolving.

Behind her, Lilly Overby is closing in after her dominant performance at The Opener. Lilly is now only 10 seconds behind Alex in the overall rankings.

After these two runners, there is a 40-second gap to the next best athlete.

To break into the top 15 in the state, runners must hit a time of 20:03 or faster. If you break 20:30, you would be ranked within the top 30 runners in the state.
