Wednesday 9-10-14

Monday and Tuesday were pretty normal for all the respective Gaillets. Tuesday evening, Mom drove down to Biloxi after watching the SA volleyball teams defeat Magee. Dad and Robert were still awake watching tv and trying to settle in for the night. Everyone was up bright and early Wednesday getting ready for Robert's doctor's appointment. One of the doctors we consulted wanted to try a treatment on Robert that will hopefully boost his progress. As with life, there are no guarantees. But we will always be hopeful. God has answered so many of our prayers. We trust in His judgement.

We felt it was going to be a good day! As we crossed the bridge into Ocean Springs, we looked across the back bay of Biloxi and saw 3 rainbows! (Just a little reminder of who is in charge!)

The treatment was accomplished fairly easily before noon today. Dad is keeping a close eye on him this evening and has the home healthcare nurse coming by tomorrow to check on Robert. We can tell by Robert's behavior this afternoon that he is having some discomfort. The rocking and rolling of the day have more than likely made him sore and tired. Hopefully the acetaminophen will kick in and give him some relief. Now that the doctor has done his work, we now leave it in the Lord's hands.

We are so thankful for the daily words of support and encouragement. Throughout this adventure of nearly 10 months, we have felt so truly blessed! We couldn't have made it this far...

Love to all!!
