Brookelyn Morgan - Tupelo High School: At the Southern Showcase in Alabama, Brookelyn ran the fastest time by a Mississippian in the girl's race. Her time of 19:28 earned her 34th overall.
Isabella Bailey - Heritage Christian Academy (MS): At the Paschal High School Invitational, Isabella placed 7th overall with a time of 20:33. She was the fastest girls finisher from Mississippi. A day later, she ran the Terry Jessup Metroplex Striders Invitational and won the 3200-meter race in 12:27.
Ella Shepherd - Caledonia High School: At the Mooreville XC Invitational, Ella won the 4A-7A section of the race in 20:43 and had the fastest time of the day in both sections.
Ally Murphy - Myrtle Attendance Center: At the Mooreville XC Invitational, Ally won the 1A-3A division with a time of 20:49.
Alex Lee - Madison Central High School: At the Southern Showcase in Alabama, Alex ran the second fastest time by a Mississippi girl. She ran a time of 19:35, finishing 37th and coming in eight seconds behind Brookelyn Morgan.
