Ressurection Catholic 8th-grader Khloe Byrd is quickly making a name for herself in Mississippi's Track and Field scene. Byrd recently made headlines after her outstanding performance at the Sabbatini Relays, where she currently leads the state in the 8th-grade rankings in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events.

But that's not all. Byrd is no stranger to success on the track. She qualified for the MHSAA 1A Outdoor Track and Field Championships in all three events as a 7th-grader last season, and even earned a bronze medal in the 400-meter dash with a run of 1:03.25 seconds.
Byrd's remarkable achievements at such a young age are a testament to her hard work, dedication, and natural talent. Her outstanding performance at the Sabbatini Relays shows that she is starting the 2023 Mississippi Outdoor Track and Field season where she left off last year.
