Brown's accomplishments in his middle school career would be an impressive resume as a high school senior; A 16:05 5K PR, a top-five finish at the MHSAA 6A Cross Country Championships, and several course and age group state records.

-2K(XC) state record: 5:50.56

-3K(XC) state record: 9:22.76

-2 mile(XC) state record: 10:17.50

-1600m 7th-grade record: 4:41.07c

-1600m 8th-grade record: 4:37.78

-3200m 7th-grade record: 10:20.44

His current 1600m PR of 4:37.78, run at the Last Chance Invite on Jan. 28, is currently the No. 1 1600m time in the United States for 8th-grade Boys.

During the 2022 Cross Country season, Brown dominated the competition, achieving five wins and never finishing outside the top five, including two varsity races.

Andrew Brown hasn't even entered high school yet, but has already established himself as one of the best distance runners in Mississippi. His impressive performances have earned him recognition from competitors and fans alike.
