PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. --- Ashton Rainey of Ocean Springs comes blazing through the weekend. She clips the 5k in 19:10 and is now the second fastest Mississippian this year.
Not far behind her is little sister Addison Rainey with a monstrous 19:15. This is almost a top 10 all-time sophomore ranking in Mississippi and puts her as the third-fastest Mississippi high school girl this season.

Rounding out the podium is Sarah Litton from, you guessed it, Ocean Springs. She PR'd by almost 20 seconds and secured her top-five spot on the 2022 Mississippi High School Girls 5K List:
RANKINGS: 2022 Mississippi High School Girls 5K List
The Ladies of Ocean Springs showed their might this past Saturday. Snatching every podium spot and having their top six runners in the top ten is nothing short of amazing.
These ladies are the definition of a deep squad, commanding some of the best runners in the Mississippi. Add in Maya Messenger, who finally made her season debut, and it's no wonder they were already ranked the 4th fastest MS High School Girls team. We expect that ranking to shoot up after the outstanding performance this weekend.
