LAST WEEK: Hattiesburg Forerunners' Henry Richardson

In this week's edition of 'Future Stars,' we highlight Bryce Redwine of North Sunflower Academy!

Bryce Redwine closed his freshman campaign ranking in the top five in the state for the class of 2025 in the shot put and discus. He threw 137-9 in discus, which was over 30 feet farther than second place.

Redwine also won the shot put comfortably with a throw of 41-7.

Redwine is no stranger to the first place blue ribbon. He won six contests as a freshman across the throwing events. At the 2022 Lee Academy Invitational, he swept both the shot put and discus competitions.

With all the success Redwine has had, it is easy to forget that he is only a rising sophomore. With just two years of throwing under his belt, he has already picked up many impressive accolades and achievements.

After an extraordinary freshman year, it will be exciting to watch Bryce Redwine continue to improve as an athlete and take the MAIS world by storm.
