The Rundown

Analysis: The bomb squad duo of Meagan Womack and Kaitlyn Walker are officially back for the Lady Arrows and are currently leading the state in the High School Girls Discus with their marks from the 2022 Hinds County Championships. Walker(pictured above), the 2021 MHSAA 6A Discus State Champion, is coming off of basketball season, but is back with her training partner Womack, who currently leads the state in both the Shot Put and the Discus. As of right now, it looks like no one is touching these two in the Discus, and they have the potential to score 30 points at the 2022 MHSAA 6A State Championships. 

Spotlight: Indoor Shot Put State Record Holder Meagan Womack of Clinton secured yet another PR, a trend that she has been setting in this year's 2022 indoor and outdoor track and field season.
