This Week's Nominees:
Adam Tucker, Madison-Ridgeland Academy(Mississippi): Ran a state-leading 48.56 in the 400m at the Jackson Prep Invitational.
Cash So Sojourner, Copiah Academy(Mississippi): Hit a new state lead in the pole vault, soaring over 14-6 for a personal best of 1-foot.
Jamarcus Garrett, Tylertown High School(Mississippi): Won the 200m and 400m and placed 2nd in the 100m at the Powerade Relays. He hit times of 10.92, 21.57, and 48.65, landing near the top in the state for each of those.
Zahkarri McGlothin, Harrison Central High School(Mississippi): Won the long jump at FSU Relays with a mark of 25-8.25 as well as hit a 10.58 100m dash at that same meet.
Samuel Lewis, Christ Covenant(Mississippi): Won the 110m hurdles and placed second in the 300m hurdles at the Jackson Prep Invitational while also winning the 800m at the St. Andrew's Invitational in that same week. He posted times of 15.00, 39.39, and 2:00.71 to put him among the best in the state for all three events.
