D'lberville High School Invitational
Ending off the preview meets we have the D'lberville Invitational. This meet will be hosting a few of the All-State members from the south as well as top boys and girls competitors in the state as well.
In the boys' race, Ocean Springs High School is looking to have a successful meet with Saint Patrick High School and Biloxi High School duking it out for the second-place finish. Stiff competition for podium spots is set between Saint Patrick's Jack Hewes (16:18.38), Saint Stanislaus' Keegan Leverett (16:28.10), and MRA's Will Triplett (16:55.60), all of which are coming off of running seasonal bests.
On the girls' side, a neck and neck race will ensue against Ocean Springs and Madison Ridgeland Academy, both eyeing that first place spot. Long Beach's Brooklyn Biancamano will be racing after coming off of running a sensational race at the Jesse Owens Classic, clocking in a seasonal best of 18:00.38 (just 3 seconds off of her PR). Other notable individuals racing at D'lberville include Ashton Rainey of Ocean Springs, Mallory Streetman of Gulfport, and Abi Alden Benton of MRA.
