Sitting atop the throne for the 3rd edition of these prestigious All-state Rankings is the Brookhaven Sensation Grayson Childress. Childress has been on an absolute tear this season. He is undefeated through 2 races - That might not seem too impressive, but any race with Brookhaven in it is going to have plenty of competition just within their own team. The proof is in the pudding, as Childress opened up his season with a 15:40 at his home course, and then backing it up with a 16:02 on Choctaw Trails in fairly warm conditions. Childress took down Tanner Moore, another member on this list somebody that is definitely no slouch, by 47 seconds. Childress has been having a Hollywood season so far, and there is no doubt that he deserves the #1 spot for another 2 weeks.
