Mississippi Weekend Forcast Fast Times Big Marks T&F

Javarius Molden, Hattiesburg High and Justin Nave, Clinton High over the last hurdle

---

Another interesting weekend of track and field is coming up here in Mississippi. There could be some great marks but they are spread out over many of the meets.

Probably the biggest meet will be at Hattiesburg High with 10 teams and 471 entries. With Hattiesburg High, you get Lenasia Drummond, Javarius Molden, and Camrun Norman. Plus with Tylertown High, you get the speed duo of Jordan Anthony and Jeremiah Dillon. Presbyterian Christian always has an overall strong girls team. You put all of this and more together you will get some relays that could produce season leaders.

The Rankin County Championships has 9 teams with 538 entries and some great teams. Anytime you get Pearl High, Brandon High, and Northwest Rankin together you are going to see some great racing. Plus some of the other teams have individuals or relays that will make this Friday exciting. The girls 4X800 relay could top the meet with three teams within 3 seconds of each other. The surprise leader of that group is the small school East Rankin Academy those girls are showing a lot of bigger schools up this season.

Madison Central could produce some big marks along with the Pass Christian Invitational. Brookhaven is full and the teams will be very competitive and you know the Brookhaven distance crew is always ready to run. The Pontotoc Invitational could produce some leading marks and give some of the schools their first marks of the season.

Meet Schedule for Friday and Saturday (weather depending)
