Class 6A boys are not as fast as they have been in the past. But if things go on like usual you will see a lot of improvement as the season progresses. I expect to see a lot of sub 17 minute times and maybe a few sub 15 minute times. Walt Johnson, Oxford could be one of those that break 16 minutes this season. Alexander Whyte, Ocean Springs is the returning State Champion in Class 6A and could very well break that 16 minute barrier also.
