Mississippi MileSplit On The Coast for Warm Weather

I will be on the Coast for the All State Relays for the second year in a row. Due to all the rain several events will not be competed. The long jump and triple jump pits are flooded along with the shot and discus circles. But the high jump pad and the pole vault runways are clear so those events will be competed. All running events will be run.

The distance events will be a showcase with the warmer weather with Ocean Springs, Long Beach, D'Iberville, and Vancleave girls going head to head. In the boys it is the same schools but throw in Cole Benoit of Pearl River Central into the mix.

In the sprints it looks like Destini Pickens, of Long Beach will lead the way. While on the boys side there will be a mix of schools bring down some great speed. Hurdles could be interesting with Tamrin Hobbs, Biloxi with one of the best times in the state leading the way. In the 300 hurdles Jakobe Boston, Meridian and Tamrin Hobbs will go head to head in a battle for maybe the top time in the state.

In the Pole Vault there will be Roslyn Inabinette and Emma Hunt of Ocean Springs going for top pole vault height in the state. The boys pole vault features Tyler Stansberry of George County at 13 feet. In the high jump boys two guys are at 6'4 inches and in the girls at 5'2 inches. Tamarcus Garrett, Gulfport is jumping against Tito Chez Turner of Meridian and in the girls it is Tatiyana Jennings, Meridian going against Kamdyn Skinner, Pass Christian
