Robert Gaillet - St Andrew's Serious Car Wreck Update

Friday 10-10-14

Robert has had more "normal" days this past week. Dad noticed a couple of places on his backside that needed extra attention. The aides are helping make sure Robert doesn't develop any skin-breakdown. That is a serious concern for people who can't shift their own weight around. We have gotten a contract for a PT to come work with Robert at the apartment. We are starting out with one session a week and will increase them as advised.

Dad has been pretty busy with work. The Coast always has something going on. He reports that Robert is sometimes very engaged in dad's conversations while sometimes not so much. Mom suggested that at times Robert just might not be that interested...

Elisabeth had another solid run in Louisville, Kentucky, last weekend, shaving a few more seconds off her pr. (Mom and Dad hated not being there to cheer her on!) She and her teammates got to watch all the craziness of the Ole Miss/Alabama game from the safety of the team bus.

Mom and Dad chaperoned Caroline and a group of her friends for SA's homecoming dance last weekend. The girls were beautiful and the dates were handsome. Feeling so blessed for the friends Caroline has surrounded herself with!

Mom is coming down to spend the weekend and go with Robert on Monday to a couple of doctors' appointments.
