Well, it’s the week of Jesse Owens and this is what we’ve been doing:
Caitlin: This week has been strange for me. We do workouts on Monday and Wednesday but I was out sick Monday, so I had to work out by myself on Tuesday, run mileage by myself on Wednesday, and run a workout today by myself. I’ve really missed my team, especially the week before such a big meet. I’d rather be running with my teammates, but I’m still ready to hard on Sunday – GO PIRATES!
Hannah and Clare handled there pressure a little differently this week, at least Clare. Hannah (as usual) has spent lots of time “stalking” folks on MileSplit, but we also enjoyed a little recreational time fishing with Mom this week. Clare has been getting prepared as usual, but she had to hang out with the fishes. Clare caught herself a fish the old-fashioned way, with a hook and worm, but Hannah tried to wade in with a net for hers. Just a little hint at who was successful. I’ll have to say though, if this bream was any smaller, we’d have had to shrink Clare or Photoshop in a bigger fish.
