With a relative large break away Rachel Garmon after the first mile decided it was tie to lead and leave her competition separating herself from the pack early on all the way to the finish line with the runner up almost 40 seconds behind. This was Rachel's first ever overall win competing against the largest MAIS Schools to date at this meet.
