This season-ending run will be held at George County High School in Lucedale. The address is 9284 Old Hwy 63 S, 39452. Entry fees will be $75 per gender. Please make checks payable to George County High School and bring on day of event. POs will also be accepted. All Class 6A, Region 4 teams are invited as well as other schools from other classes and regions
The race will begin and end in front of the high school under the pines and quickly proceed into the nearby woods for a true trail run experience. The trail is made up of predominately woods roads and trails. There are several hills involved including the famous "monster." Runners will encounter the usual landscape of a true trail run including but not limited to sand, pine straw, and the like. This is an excellent end-of-season event that will challenge your runners and prepare them for the coming state meets

Buses will park near the start in the student parking area.

There is a $5 charge per automobile and these will park in the nearby stadium parking lot.
Team tents will be set up near the start/finish line under the pines in front of the school.
Restrooms will be available at the nearby football stadium. Several vendors will be present selling items such Kona ice.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams, both middle and high school, girls and boys. Medals will be awarded to the top 5 finishers, both middle and high school, girls and boys. Trophies will also be specifically warded to Class 6A, Region 4 top 3 teams, and top 3 finishers, boys and girls
The meet will start at 9:00 AM using the following schedule:
*Course opens at 8:00 to runners for viewing
*Coaches meeting at 8:45
*Middle School girls 3K at 9:00 AM
*Middle School boys 3K at 9:45 AM
*High School girls 5K at 10:30 AM
*High School boys 5K at 11:15 AM
There will be a 40 minute cut-off for the high school runners and a 30 minute cut-off for the middle school runners
