Meet Information
Meet will be held at Bayou View Elementary / Bayou View Park in Gulfport, MS
Address is: 4898 Washington Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507
Entry fees will be $50 max per gender team ($200 max), $15 per athlete if bringing less than 5 athletes per team. All payments will be due at the meet. Make checks payable to Gulfport Athletic Department.
Meet will start at 9am using the following schedule:
Course opens at 8am to runners for viewing
Coaches' Meeting at 8:45am
HS Girls 5k: 9am
HS Boys 5k: 9:45am
MS Girls 3k: 10:30am
MS Boys 3k: 11am
Awards for winning teams and top 5 finishers in each division will be immediately after the middle school boys race concludes.
There will be a 40 minute cut-off for the high school runners, and a 30 minute cut-off for middle school runners.
Teams will set up in the areas near the start/finish line. The start/finish will be in the field at the corner of 51st street and Washington Avenue. Restrooms will be located in the gym on the east end of the campus. Bus Parking will be in the parking lot in front of the gym. Parking will be available to spectators around the campus and around the park (Do NOT park on residential side of streets or in church parking lots). Parking is free around campus and the park. DO NOT PARK IN AREAS MARKED FOR THE COURSE!!
