Canton Academy Invitational Track Meet
March 3rd 2021
Coaches, Enclosed you will find starting times for events for the Canton Academy Invitational Track Meet. Do not drive buses up to track, Buses should park in the big parking lot by the baseball batting cage. No parents are to park at field house. Admission 5$
Schools have been assigned field events, see list below
ENTRY FEE OF 50$ Per School , we will have Pirate timing to run the meet w FAT timing. You will be Emailed the Password to enter your athletes on MileSplit.
*There will be Jr High and Varsity Divisions , NO UNATTACHED IN LANE RACES OR FIELD EVENTS
*Athletes can be entered in 3 individual and 3 Relays; you can enter 2 athletes attached in field events and non-lane races 1 athlete or relay team in lane races. When an event is called have your athlete at the starting line. Unattached runners in the 3200,1600 or 800 need to be taped.
*Field events will start on time, running, once we run first race will continue without stopping, if we are ahead we will continue on.
*Ribbons will be awarded.
*Please no outside food or coolers; we will have a fully stocked concession stand.
CANTON ACADEMY HAS ADDED A BRAND NEW TRACK COMPLEX WITH ALL SYNTHETIC SURFACE ON FIELD EVENTS AND THE TRACK. ALL RUNNERS THAT WEAR SPIKES ARE REQUIRED TO USE THE 1/8 CAMLOCK SPIKES(Disc Spikes). ANY ATHLETES WITH SPIKES OTHER THAN THESE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
*There are no entry sheets to be sent in.
