You are invited to the 2020 Tupelo Invitational to be held on Saturday, September 26th on the campus of Tupelo High School

12:20 PM 1A-3A Varsity Boys 5K MILES
Awards:
We are giving 30 top finisher t-shirts in each of the six races.
Top 3 teams in each race will earn trophies.
The top finisher in each race will receive a medal.
The first place trophies will honor the first coaches for each Tupelo program.
The respective boys first place trophies will honor Dale Dobbs, who began the Tupelo boys program in the 1970's, and coached Tupelo in the first MHSAA sanctioned State Meet in 1978.
The respective girls first place trophies will honor Linton Stanton-Smith, who was the first girls coach for Tupelo in the 1980's.
Entry Fees:
$50.00 per team.
Varsity and junior high are considered separate teams, as are boys and girls.
A maximum of $150.00 cost limit per school.
$10.00 per individual runner not with a complete school team
No unattached runners, all must be part of a sanctioned team
Bring entry fees with you to the meet. Cash or school check. No P.O.S. notes
Unlimited entries in each race

Wide start and and finish line has been relocated to near the starting areas instead of track finish in football stadium as in previous two years because of home football game Sept. 25.

5k course is mostly the same, while middle school two-mile course has been adjusted to two loops.

Crushed gravel/dirt trails, grass, no pavement crossings with races not finishing in football stadium. A great 5000 meter, flat and fast course!
Parking is $5.00 per vehicle. School buses are excluded from fee.
