Listed below is information concerning the Gaston Hewes Meet to be held on Saturday March 16th. Please note directions to the Gulfport High School Track and Field facilities listed below. All entries need to be made through MileSplit. There will be a $50.00 entry fee per team. (If bringing a boys and girls team the cost will be $100.00) Please make checks payable to Gulfport Athletics. You may mail in your entry feet to the Athletic Department at 100 Perry St. Gulfport, MS 39507. You may also bring your entry fee the day of the meet.
1. Two entries per field events and individual events. One relay team entry.
2. Order of Events
Field Events (Start at 10:00 a.m.)
Preliminaries in 100m dash, 100m hurdles & 110m hurdles will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Two mile run will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Break for lunch after the two mile
Running will begin 1:00 p.m.
3. Location of track in Gulfport, MS: Highway 90 East/West to Gulfport- turn at
Courthouse Road and go across the railroad tracks to the 1st red light- turn right onto Perry St.- go to the 1st stop sign turn left onto Loposser St go pass Bert Jenkins Gym on the left track and field facilities on the left. Interstate 10 East/West to Gulfport take the highway 49 (South) exit and travel to Pass Road turn left onto Pass Road travel east to Courthouse road turn right and go one block to Victory St turn left onto Victory St. Go one block to Loposser St turn right onto Loposser St. The track and field facilities will be on your right. Busses can be parked in the parking lot of the Bert Jenkins Gym on Loposser St.

*ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ENTERED INTO MILESPLIT NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY MARCH 13TH. MILESPLIT will open for entry to the meet on March 1, 2013. (If you have any questions concerning your entries please contact Coach Woodberry @ 228-596-2020).
