Eleventh Annual
Titan Cross Country Invitational
You are invited to the Ridgeland Cross Country Invitational. The meet will be held September 15, 2012. We will have four races in all. We will not have a junior varsity race. All times are approximate depending on the finish of the prior race.
At 8:45 we will have the girls' Jr. High 3,200 meter race. At 9:15 the boys' Jr. High will race 3,200 meters. T-shirts will be awarded to the top finishers in each race according to the number of participating schools and athletes. You may enter as many runners as you would like in either of these races as long as they are from grades 7-9. Only your top seven finishers will count in team scoring. All six classifications will be scored together. All runners must finish before 25 minutes in order to be scored.
At 9:45, we will have the girls' Varsity 4,000-meter race. The boys' Varsity 5,000-meter race will follow at 10:20. All teams will be scored together. While the teams will be scored together, we will have a separate team trophy for top small school and large school. These divisions will be broken up depending on the number of schools and the sizes of those schools. T-shirts will be awarded to the top 35 finishers in each race. There is no limit to the number of athletes that can participate, and all grades 7-12 are eligible. All runners must finish before 30 minutes in order to be guaranteed to be scored.
Entries will be done on-line through www.mstrackxc.com. Registration deadline is midnight of Tuesday, September 11. The entry fee will be $35 per race that your school participates in with a maximum charge of $85. PLEASE BRING PAYMENT TO THE MEET.
