Mississippi's future stars are already stretching up to the 5K distance and proving they can compete at the senior level. Each year, middle schoolers from across the state push the pace and rise not only to the top of the middle school rankings, but also into the upper tiers of varsity competition. Whether in MHSAA or MAIS, these young runners are on track to make serious waves in the Mississippi running scene.
