Nathan Perkins breaks Miss. MS 1K Discus record

CLINTON, Miss. --- Nathan Perkins, an eighth-grader at Clinton Junior High School, made history last night at the Junior Arrow Invitational #1 by throwing the 1-kilogram Discus a distance of 163-6. This impressive throw broke the record for any middle school boy in Mississippi history, cementing Perkins' place as a rising star in the sport of Mississippi Track and Field.
